You should be SO proud.......

During the duration of my pregnancy with GG (Nov '05 – Aug '06) there were 18 other women who shared my journey, delivering 20 babies total. This is truly no lie and I have provided a list of names to prove my point. This list is as accurate as I believe it to be in general time line fashion.

  1. Candice- March/Girl/Carley
  2. Kathy – June/Boy/Samuel
  3. Karen – June/Boy/Parker
  4. Karissa – July/Girl/nameless
  5. Kimmguru (me) – August/Girl/Good Girl
  6. Sara – August/Boy/Evan
  7. Kristen – August/Girl/Jenna
  8. Sherry – September/Girl/ Rachel
  9. Rachel – September/Boy/Samuel
  10. April – September/Boy/Aiden
  11. Ginger – October/Girl/ Mya
  12. Emily – October/Triplets/Ashtyn, Ava & Aiden
  13. Charla – November/Boy/Peyton
  14. Tiffany – November/Girl/Madelyn
  15. Tosha – December/Boy/Graysen
  16. Aja- December/Boy/Lane
  17. Lori – December/Girl/Madison
  18. Mindy – February/Boy/Miles

Now moving on to discuss my subject. With so many babies born during this time frame it's not uncommon to share your favorite baby stories with other Mommies. I do have a serious problem when those stories become a pissing match to see whose baby is doing what and when. I must admit that I easily get sucked into this type of contest when someone is trying to top my kid and her accomplishments. I have also created another list of the things GG is currently doing so feel free to compare your child to her and what is consider "normal" for an 11 month old infant.

GG Can do or Has done the following:

  • Speaks in complete sentences using proper grammar and punctuation.
  • Has memorized the entire Merriam-Webster's Dictionary vol. 17 and is currently working on the New York City phone book
  • Expresses her emotions in many ways including but not limited to flipping the bird when you've pissed her off.
  • Completed her 1st Boston Marathon on April 16, 2007.
  • Has completed the first semester of her Masters in Communication at the MIT
  • Can play 16 musical instruments as well as sing and dance.
  • Qualified to complete in the 2007 AAU Junior Olympics for both Competitive Diving and Gymnastics.

These are just a few of her most recent accomplishment. Feel free to message me and let me know how well your child is meeting their milestones too!
